Mondi (National Diploma Forestry) – 15 September
Mondi offers various bursaries to students completing 1st year of the Forestry Traineeship by community youth. No “outside” students are considered initially. 2nd year practical is recorded under “Forestry Practical – Work Experience opportunities” where “outside” students are considered.
Western Cape Government (Provincial Treasury Bursary) – 27 September
The Western Cape Provincial Treasury invites matriculants, undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in pursuing careers in Economics, Fiscal and Public Policy, Asset Management (Supply Chain Management, Physical Asset Management), Accounting, Public Finance (Expenditure and Revenue Analysis and Management) or Corporate Governance (Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Business and Public Administration) to apply for full-time bursaries.
Kantey & Templer Bursary – 30 September
The Kantey & Templer Bursary and Educational Assistance Scheme has been created to provide financial assistance for the study of civil, mechanical or electrical engineering at tertiary level for persons who, through proven academic performance and personal circumstances, are considered deserving of support. Applications from previously disadvantaged individuals are encouraged.

Available to Lutheran students who are members of the ELCSA-SED
Study Trust – TVET College – 30 September
SA citizens interested in full-time studies towards an NSC (Vocational) at an FET College. Preference is given to: • applicants from rural areas • applicants who already completed an NSC or already matriculated but who are not yet registered at a college • current Grade 12 learners intending to register at a college. Preferred study programmes: º Business and General Study Programmes: Secretarial/Administrative; Financial/Business/Marketing Management; Educare; Tourism; Catering/Food/Hospitality Services; Human Resource Management, etc. º Engineering Programmes: All Engineering programmes including Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; Boilermaking; Millwrights, Plumbing; Diesel Mechanics; Building and Construction, etc.

Investec provide a diverse range of financial products and services to a niche client base in three principal markets, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia. The South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) Education and Bursary Fund - Closing 30 September
The SAIEE awards bursaries to assist deserving students in completing their studies. If you are presently studying or intend to study towards a degree, diploma or certificate in Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering, at any University or University of Technology in South Africa.
Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries – 30 September
The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries intends to award comprehensive bursaries to qualifying applicants pursuing and/ or intending to further their studies in critical scarce skills in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors for the 2015 academic year.
HCI Foundation – 30 September
The HCI Foundation has identified a number of areas in which it aims to make lasting and significant contributions to our society, and to this end supports education at all levels, youth development and empowerment, and sustainable projects which protect the environment. The HCI Foundation provides opportunities for education to employees of subsidiaries and associates of the HCI group, in particular through access to tertiary level education for dependents of company employees via the Foundation’s Bursary Programme.
Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa - Closing 02 October
Through the Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education (FPE) the Pharmaceutical Society promotes and administers the availability of bursaries for undergraduate study of pharmacy at recognised institutions in SA from the second year of study onwards.
BMW Apprenticeships - 2016
BMW SA is investing in a national apprentice recruitment drive. The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing support to Technicians in the preparation, servicing and repairs of all vehicles. The opportunity will afford the Apprentice to the chance to obtain the necessary skills and knowledge to become a qualified BMW Technician.
