KAAD Scholarships for Emerging Countries - Germany
Applications are open for well known KAAD Scholarships available for students of developing countries. These scholarships are awarded to students for pursuing master’s degree, PhD or for a postdoctoral research project (2-6 months for established university lecturers) at a German university. Our programme for sub-Saharan Africa is geared towards development of African countries and societies as well as development of qualified individuals. Which Countries can Apply?: Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe.

Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation

Hugh le May Fellowship
Rhodes University is offering three and six months residential Fellowship in alternate years to senior scholars. Only qualified applicants should apply i.e. At the conclusion of the Fellowship, the Fellow will be required to present a report on the work undertaken. The Fellow will be required to appropriately acknowledge the Fellowship and Rhodes University in all publications emanating from the period of the Fellowship.

Bursaries are available for students in the Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering disciplines. Candidates applying must at least in their 2nd or 3rd year of studies. Minimum Requirements are a 70% Average. Candidates will be required to do vac work with us during their school holidays( will be Paid per day).

Anglo American's coal business in South Africa is offering main stream University bursaries for students registering their 1st Academic Year in the fields of: Electrical Engineering (BENG or BSc); Mechanical Engineering (BENG or BSc); Mining Engineering (BENG or BSc); Environmental Science (BSc).
CTGU Full and Partial Undergraduate Scholarship for Non-Chinese Students in China
The CTGU Scholarship Programs for Undergraduates is offered to Non-Chinese students with the main objective being to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students. CTGU consists of 29 colleges, 70 undergraduate programs covering nine fields including science, engineering, medicine, arts, economics, management, law, education and fine arts. TUM Summer School on Energy, Water and Food Technologies in Africa
The first TUM Summer School on Energy, Water and Food Technologies in Africa, named “Development by Innovation” will be hosted from October 2 to October 13 2017 at TUM Campus Garching. The Summer School aims to create innovative concepts for sustainable Energy, Water- and Food supply in interdisciplinary and international teams with students from African partner universities. Graduate students and doctoral candidates from all recognized African universities and TUM students from the fields of energy or water engineering, economics, life science or social science with a strong focus on the energy-water-food-nexus who are fluent in English are able to apply.
