PACE Bursary Update Newsletter
Please find a list of bursaries, scholarships, learnerships and graduate programmes which expire in December and January. These include a number of international scholarships. The Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme, which promotes teaching in public schools, has approximately 3500 new bursaries available in 2016. Re-applications have already closed, however new applications close on 08 January 2016. The Sasol bursary is still open for University of Technology applicants for the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Computer Engineering.

PACE Career Centre
Bursaries are for full-time post-matric courses at Western Cape Public FET colleges for: NQF Levels 4 – 5, N4-N6 business and N1-N6 engineering; engineering practicals; alternatively if the applicant has a technical matric or has completed at least N2 in engineering.
SAAFoST Foundation Bursary - Closing 15 January 2016
The South African Association for Food Science and Technology (SAAFoST) Foundation is inviting interested students to apply for full term bursaries in the field of Food Science and Technology. SAAFoST Foundation is offering bursaries for full-time undergraduate food science and technology students, awarded on the basis of academic merit, employment equity, and demonstrated potential.

Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme - Closing 08 January 2016
The Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme is a multi-year programme that promotes teaching in public schools. Full-cost bursaries are available to enable eligible students to complete a full teaching qualification in an area of national priority. Recipients of these bursaries will be required to teach at a public school for the same number of years that they receive the bursary.

Myrtle L Aron Bursary Fund - Closing 31 January 2015
SASLHA is a professional body set up to promote the interests of Speech-Language Therapists and Audiologists to the public. SALSHA are the administrators of the Myrtle L Aron Bursary for 2nd or 3rd year of speech pathology and audiology students.The bursary is available for students who have successfully completed their 2nd or 3rd year of a speech pathology and audiology degree. Only students studying the 3rd or 4th year curriculum of their degree will be awarded the bursary.
The Rural Education Access Programme (REAP) assists students from poor rural areas across all 9 provinces of South Africa to access and succeed in tertiary education. REAP provides information, resources and referrals to grade 11 & 12 learners in rural schools. REAP has network of volunteers and youth focused community or non-governmental organisations who identify financially challenged rural students and assist with career guidance, application & selection processes.
Oxford Graduate Scholarships
Oxford University are providing over 60 fully-funded scholarships for graduates who will be applying to Oxford to study in various disciplines, including the Medical Sciences, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations, Computer Science and others.
