Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education – Closing 02 October
Through the Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education (FPE) the Pharmaceutical Society promotes and administers the availability of bursaries for undergraduate study of pharmacy at recognised institutions in SA from the second year of study onwards.
African Scholars' Fund (FET College) - Closing 31 October
Students wishing to attend a Public FET college in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and North West Provinces. Applicants should not be older than 25 years of age. A minimum of Grade 10 with Mathematics and Science is required for technical courses.
South African Weather Service Bursary Scholarship – Closing 19 October
A) One year BSc bridging course (Introduction to Meteorology) followed by honours in meteorology and a post graduate certificate in weather forecasting.
B) Is also offering bursaries for study towards BSc (1st, 2nd, 3rd or honours year) in meteorology, oceanography agro-meteorology, air quality, atmospheric science, climatology.
C) Forecasting Internship for 2016 is offered to graduates who are in possession of an honours degree in meteorology or atmospheric sciences with at least mathematics on second year university level and physical sciences on first year university level. The internship is for one year in forecasting at the head office of the South African Weather Service in Pretoria.
Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme – Closing 13 November
The Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme is a multi-year programme to promote teaching as a profession. Bursaries are available to enable eligible students to complete a teaching qualification in an area of national priority. Recipients of these bursaries will be required to teach at a public school for the same number of years that they received the bursary.
Monash South Africa Bursary – Closing 15 November
Monash South Africa, a campus of Monash University Australia is an institution of higher education situated in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Monash South Africa scholarship process occurs twice a year in November and May. Monash South Africa scholarships are available to South African and International students.
SAAWG (Awards to Female Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students) - Closing 31 October
The SAAWG administers a number of partial bursaries and Fellowship awards for South African female students who are completing undergraduate and post-graduate studies.
Swaziland Scholarship Services – Closing 31st December
This scholarship is awarded to Form 5 Swazi students who wish to study in the country, in South Africa or in other recognized Universities. The scholarship covers pre-service training, first degree and diploma courses as well as Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and an Honours Degree in Psychology.
ARUP - Closing 30 September
Individuals studying towards a degree or B.Tech in the built environment. Must be studying at universities in Gauteng, KZN and Eastern Cape only. Good academic record is vital.

• Opportunities are open to South African citizens below the age of 35 years and who are residents from Matlosana, Merafong and our major labour sending areas in the Eastern Cape and to children of the company's employees.
• Only students with a full tertiary qualification (3 or 4 year Diploma or Degree) will be allowed on the programme.
Rand Water CA Programme - Closing Date 5 October
Chartered Accountant Programme (CAP) 2016 intake. Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or equivalent qualification that meets SAICA requirements to write Initial Test of Competence (ITC) in January 2016.
FNB IT Graduate Learnership Programme 2016
Learnerships are being offered in the following academies:
