Mandela Washington Fellowship - Closing 11 October 2017
The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, is the flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) that empowers young people through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking. The Fellowship will provide 700 outstanding young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa with the opportunity to hone their skills at a U.S. college or university with support for professional development after they return home.
African Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship for Sub-Saharan Africans - Closing 13 October
The ALT Scholarship Program grants full scholarships based on merit to women and men from sub-Saharan Africa to pursue master’s degree in public administration, public policy or public finances in Canada. The African Leaders of Tomorrow (ALT) Scholarship Program commemorates the late Nelson Mandela’s commitment to social justice and equity.
Facebook Fellowship Program - Closing 31 October
The Facebook Fellowship Program and Emerging Scholar Awards are designed to encourage and support promising doctoral students who are engaged in innovative and relevant research in areas related to computer science and engineering. While open to students in any year of PhD study, a heavy emphasis on research and publication record for Facebook Fellowships favor students who are further along in their course of study. First or second year PhD students who are members of a minority group that is underrepresented* in the technology sector have the option of being evaluated for an emerging scholar award.
Dickson Poon Undergraduate Law Scholarships (Kings College) - Closing 31 October
The Dickson Poon Undergraduate Law Scholarship Programme offers prestigious and generous scholarships to outstanding new Law students at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London.Scholars will receive some financial support for the duration of the degree programme to which they are admitted. Scholars will also receive complimentary King’s accommodation during the first year of their LLB programme.
African Scholars Fund Public TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) College - Closing 31 October
The African Scholars’ Fund supports scholars who are registered for Business and Engineering studies at Public TVET Colleges. Our areas of operation are the Eastern Cape [PE and Eastcape Midlands College] and the Western Cape [College of Cape Town and Northlink College]. Bursaries are offered for full-time studies only. Should your application be successful, we will pay your registration and full course fees.
Funza Lushaka Bursary - Closing 17 November
The Funza Lushaka Bursary Programme is a multi-year programme that promotes teaching in public schools. Full-cost bursaries are available to enable eligible students to complete a full teaching qualification in an area of national priority. Recipients of these bursaries will be required to teach at a public school for the same number of years that they receive the bursary.
Monash Bursary - Closing 15 November
Monash South Africa a campus of Monash University Australia is an institution of higher education situated in Johannesburg South Africa. Monash South Africa scholarships are available to South African and International students. Scholarships are offered to students to encourage and reward academic excellence in previous studies.
